Nationalökonomie ist, wenn die Leute sich wundern, warum sie kein Geld haben. Das hat mehrere Gründe, die feinsten sind die wissenschaftlichen Gründe, doch können solche durch eine Notverordnung aufgehoben werden.
Über die ältere Nationalökonomie kann man ja nur lachen und dürfen wir selber daher mit Stillschweigen übergehen. Sie regierte von 715 vor Christo bis zum Jahre 1 nach Marx. Seitdem ist die Frage völlig gelöst: Die Leute haben zwar immer noch kein Geld, wissen aber wenigstens, warum. (...)
Jede Wirtschaft beruht auf dem Kreditsystem, das heißt auf der irrtümlichen Annahme, der andre werde gepumptes Geld zurückzahlen. Tut er das nicht, so erfolgt eine sog. "Stützungsaktion", bei der alle, bis auf den Staat, gut verdienen. Solche Pleite erkennt man daran, dass die Bevölkerung aufgefordert wird, Vertrauen zu haben. Weiter hat sie ja dann auch meist nichts mehr.
